Past Tense
This tenses is expressing an event or an activity
that happened in the past and doesn’t have a related with the present.
Examples :
1. Did you bought me a cake two days ago ?.
2. I saw
you in the cinema with your girl friends a couple days ago.
3. I run
because saw a cockroaches.
4. I
would help you if I had much spare time.
5. Were
you have been last night ?
Past Continuous Tense
This tenses
is a form of sentence that explains past event in a certain period of
time.
Examples :
1. I was
sleeping when you called me.
2. last
night at 7 PM, I was eating dinner.
3. I was studying
when you came to my home yesterday.
4. What
were you doing while you were waiting?.
5. Were
you listening while I was talking?.
Present Perfact Continuous
This tenses is a form of the time that use to
explain an action or situation that has started in the past and now still
continuing
Examples :
1. I have
been studying at the elementary school
since now.
2. We
have been waiting you here for over a few hour.
3. my dad
has been cooking since 2000 till now .
4. I have
been travelling for a few days.
5. she has not been drinking.
Present Perfact Tense
This tense is a form of the verb that use to explain
a situation that has started in the past and now still continuing but the
effect continues.
Examples :
1. The
students have finished their examination.
2. I was
called you two times.
3. Being
pretty, she has changed a lot now.
4. I have visited my parents to see
their condition.
5. He has
moved to Bandung with his family
Past Perfect
This tense is
a form of verb that explains a event that had been done in a certain
time in the past before another event happened.
Examples :
1. When
he came last night, the cake had run out.
2. I had
already eaten breakfast by the time he picked me up.
3. She
had just left the room when the police arrived.
4. If he
had taken a bath fast, he would have missed the train.
5. She
said that she had listened carefully the instruction.
Future Tense
This tense is a form of the verb that use to explain
an action in the future that spontaneous and to be planned.
Examples :
1. I will
be angry if you do that.
2. I will
see that’s movie tomorrow.
3. you will need my help.
4. he will go to jogjakarta in mei
5. she will dinner with you on weekend.
